Appearance: At first glance, Mira appears to be a lot younger than she actually is as she has a youthful face and an innocent look. Her usual attire consists of over-sized shirts, usually used as dresses, and accompanied by black boots. For her bartender job, she is required to dress up a little and wear form-fitting dresses.

Her tall, pale, slender appearance often can mislead Kindred to believe she is among them. Her under-eyes are quite bagged and she rarely covers them with makeup so it often appears she has little to no sleep.

Character Archetype: Nature is Enigma, Demeanor is Survivor

Personality: Mira is a kindhearted individual with big dreams for the future which would be being a semi-famous singer, or something close to that. She isn't too sure yet what she wants to do. Mira is one to always be polite and considerate to all people and all walks of life, however, she is quick to anger if anger is shown to her. Mira struggles often with being assertive and usually keeps to herself out of both fear of others' intentions, as well as being quite introverted. When needing to be professional, she can manage a little extroversion here and there, as it is necessary in life and success. Most people's first impressions on Mira is that she is a sweet girl who is a bit "off" and they might not be too sure why.

Mira feels calmest when she is in the comfort of her own home. She will double-check locks to make sure nobody can get in due to her paranoia. She will read books, practice singing, listen to music, watch movies, and rarely, take walks around the neighborhood. Mira is at a lack for close friends and finds it easier that way seeing as she trusts no others intentions than her own. She has also distanced herself from her family because of this. At work, Mira is hard to strike up a conversation other than the usual basic things an employee would say to a customer to be friendly. She always carries a look of either fear or confusion on her face, which can make her appear like an easy target.

Derangements: Mira was unfortunate enough to inherit psychosis from her mother, whom she no longer is in contact with due to hospitalization complications. There are good days and bad days, but she is more or less has a functional day to day life, although, to others, she may seem a bit "odd" or not fully "there". Without knowing this about her, it would be hard to pinpoint what exactly Mira goes through.

Her affliction causes her to be extremely paranoid about the intentions of others, as well as, carrying paranoia about secret societies, the government, etc. She usually sees or hears demons and angels talking to her. The demons tell her often to set fires. The angels, however, say that people around her (usually random) are demonic and trying to kill her. These only happen on her bad days. Typically, she only carries paranoia and less harmful hallucinations (whether it be auditory or visual).

Biography:
Mira felt the weight of the dresser's wood against her entire body as she helped push it over the door with her mother. "Mira, start taping this to the windows." She was handed a stack of newspapers. Mira grabbed the duct tape from the kitchen and started taping newspaper to the windows, blocking out any amount of sun coming through. Her mother helped her finish the top of the window because she was too short to reach. Her mother continued on the rest of the windows where Mira couldn't, seeing as she was much too short. "Go into Mommy's room and bring out the gun, Mira." Mira did just that. She knew what a gun was and what it looked like, her and her mother had played this game before. They were playing hide and seek from the aliens. Her mother handled the gun and started unplugging the TV and pouring water on all the circuits in the house. She then threw the phones and microwave and other electronics into the filled bathtub. She let all the sinks run. There was a knock on the door. Mira was told to hide behind one of the chairs in the living room. "Shhh," her mother whispered to her, sweat running down the sides of her face. This wasn't one of Mira's favourite games as a child, there was something about it that scared her and left her feeling unsettled. "Who is it?" Her mother said, aiming the gun towards the door. "Catina?" There was a pushing at the door. It was her father. "I'll shoot you right in the head if you come through that door!" Mira peeked out from the couch, her mother's arms were shaking, not holding the gun stable. Her father didn't make another noise. Instead, the events following were somewhat fuzzy. The police came and her mother was strapped to a bed, being carried off in an ambulance. Mira stood there in a blanket one of the people gave her outside. She couldn't remember anything else.

Growing up with her mother still in the house was something detrimental to her health later it seemed. She had inherited what she was very afraid of from her mother. Her father was very stressed most of the time, especially with having to take care of his wife, mentally ill, and their child, being subjected to the danger her mother unwillingly put her in. She felt bad for her mom later on in life, but never went to visit her in the hospital after she turned 14. It was too much to see her mother be so gone from reality, even if she was being "helped" by the medication they were feeding her. She lost herself. Mira had lost a mother. Sometimes she blames her mother for giving Mira her own downfall, but she usually dismisses this because she knows her mother would have never meant to do that to her if she had the choice.

Mira was quite the shut-in even from an early age. She didn't have many friends, maybe one or two over the course of her life in Romania. She had average grades, mostly dreamed of a fantasy world in her head every day to forget the boring mundane life they were all subjected to. Nobody really understood Mira, not even her teachers. It was hard to, the way she spoke especially, not answering questions with sense, sometimes going off on tangents, sometimes jumbling her words up that seemed off-putting. Mira stuck to singing, reading, and film. These were her three things she greatly appreciated.

During her teenage years, Mira grew very fond of singing and she wanted to experience the "American Dream" with her talent. She moved to California at age 20 to work and live inn hopes that while there, she would build a network that would help her prosper. This would be harder than she thought seeing as she grew more and more passive, keeping to herself as much as possible. Branching out and being assertive was part of the industry. This would be something she'd have to work on if she were going to make it.

Final Notes: Psychometry
The ability to pick up psychic residue left on objects, places or people. Things exposed to strong emotional signatures hold flashes of information that a psychometric can read by touch. Particularly strong or violent emotions like murder may even cause sympathetic reactions in the psychic a feeling of rage, dread or other emotion imposed by the incredibly strong psychic resonance. The players successes indicate the level of detail achieved. With many successes a character will have longer more vivid impressions and emotions. A psychic may become lost in a dream like reverie or even become overwhelmed by emotional resonance, suffering injury or temporarily losing her personality and repeating the actions surrounding the object or place touched.

Through touch, the psychic can learn something about an object and the people that interacted with it in the past. The stronger the emotional resonance, the easier it is to read it.
