The stars in the sky moved along silently with the heavily tinted black Ford Flex as it moved through the streets of St. Francis Village, on it's way to the Red Wolf Inn. Passing by the Rising Sun Brothel with its wares on display in the windows, the SUV was relatively quiet as it's occupant was focused on the destination, not the trip itself. Soon enough, the vehicle pulled up in front of the Red Wolf Inn, and the passenger exited from the vehicle. She was not known to the bouncer Derek, but she was expected. He escorted her into the Inn.

Moving past Julie and Lucie who were currently dancing on stage, they moved towards the more secure part of the club, known as the Vault. Here the Kindred can be more at ease with themselves, and privacy is assured. Once there, the woman is led to a booth as far from the stairs as possible, and within that booth is none other than Silas himself, the Lord Diviner of Maledictus. Upon seeing his new guest, he smiles at her, spreading his hands in a welcoming gesture.

"Greetings my dear, welcome to the Red Wolf Inn. As I am sure you have been told by my dearest Storm, my name is Silas, and I lead our little Organization. She has told me that you wish to join our Organization and to help it achieve it's goals. So, tell me WHY?" He is quite smooth in his demeanor, until he gets to the last word. Commanding her to answer his question, he wants to know the truth behind her desire to join - and he is not above Dominating her to get his answer. How she answered would determine how she left the club - or if she left it at all.

Being provided with a car was something that told Cerys she was getting in deep. She hadn't said two words to the driver, instead donning herself a business suit top, a tie and a knee length skirt. She was aiming to go for business rather than pleasure, and the SUV almost screamed that. Lights whipped by as she tried to focus on what she was going to say, what she wanted from this meeting. And Cerys knew that she would also be asked what she could provide. That in itself was an issue.

Once the vehicle had pulled up and the bouncer took her inside, she was surprised. She hadn't been to many places like this and found it a stark contrast to the Cybermachine. It felt a lot more... welcoming to her kind. Perhaps she was overdressed for this now. Why could she never get that right? A dress would have been far more appropriate for this setting. Typical! Cerys couldn't help but observe the dancers for a brief moment before heading in deeper.

The Vault was certainly like the main floor, just increased. But it was now she realised how unprepared she was when she was welcomed by Silas. His gesture was welcoming as she was led to his booth, far from the stairs and other patrons as she sat herself down. He was welcoming, and she could feel it immediately throughout his words. She had to speak. Too bad her thoughts were muddled up in the first place.

"It is a pleasure Silas. I am Cerys, and... why. Such a good question. Because since my sire denied me a normal death and showed me his ways, I suppose I wanted to rule. Be in charge. Create and destroy as and when required. I suppose that is the handy thing about being Tzimisce, that one can create and destroy. But without the proper equipment it is tedious, labourious. I want to join you because I can create monsters. I can create soldiers, willing to die for you, out of the Kine. Particularly I want to strike back at Hunters who think themselves doing some God's work. Oh, yes, I am sure you can tell I'm not a native of the Americas. If it weren't for my Sire's hubris long ago I may have even stayed in Europe and peddled my talents to the highest bidder there, but his own madness forced me away and to learn alone. So," she said, pausing for a moment between her rambling, "To reiterate: What I want are resources and my own place to call 'home', while for you I can give you my lifetime of knowledge. Of course, I'll keep to your rules. No sense in being a loose cannon is there?"

Cerys sat back and crossed her legs, folding her arms with a gentle smile. She had rambled far too much, blathered even, but this was a chance. If Silas was a lying traitor then she wasn't going down without a fight, that much was for certain. They were all monsters inside.

"There are plenty of Kine around... Prisoners, the homeless, those thinking they are helping medical science for a fee. I suppose they all would be in some sense," she mused.

Silas smiled as the words poured out of the woman's mouth. He listened to it all, casually sipping on a glass of vitae as she carried on. Perhaps he had pushed a little too hard. He was surprised she hadn't spilled more. Storm had told him that she was a Tzimisce, and he always wanted more of them in his ranks. He had heard bits and pieces of what that Ventrue dick cheese LaGuardia was working on at Imogen, and he wanted his own trusty foot soldiers.

Sitting his glass down, he ordered the young Kindred next to him to get up and move, and gestured for Cerys to join him. "Come, sit next to me." Once she had made clear whether she was going to do so or not, he'd continue. "I could very well use someone like you in Maledictus. We are in desperate need of cannon fodder to throw at Valerian and his dogs. After Storm's failed assassination attempt of the new head of Limbus, we could use our ranks refilled. I will allow you to work on the Kine of St. Francis' village, but not too many. We wouldn't want you to thin the herd too soon."

He motioned for his glass to be refilled as he continued smiling at Cerys. "There are a few rules. The first being about the Kine in our area of influence, as I've already discussed. The second, is nothing is done without my direct approval. I am to be kept 'in the loop' on all activities. Third, don't ever double cross me. I may add more in the future. We'll see. Follow these simple rules, and we'll get along fine, and I will provide you everything your heart can desire. Break them, and your ashes will be found in the cemetery come morning. Do we have an accord?"

Perhaps she had been too forthcoming. It felt like that a lot of what Cerys said was more what she wanted to spill off her chest rather than any kind of power used against her. She had annoyed herself a little. Would she brazenly walk into public and declare herself Kindred to Kine? No! And yet here she was promising work to Silas of all people. Still, it seemed to pay off as he ordered the other kindred gone and herself in place. Perhaps that was a good sign after all?

Cerys moved and sat herself next to Silas, listening to his words as his glass was refilled. This all seemed fair, standard stuff for Kindred. It was much the same in Europe: Don't screw with me or I'll screw you. And that was the politest way it had ever been described to her. Well, up until this point anyway.

"Well, I can say that's all fair and in order. After all, what is the point of having a loose cannon? None. So I'll gladly report to you. But let's get down to brass tacks as they say... What is it you can offer me to do this work? Obviously, taking Kine from St. Francis' is easy enough. I could do it myself, but, I'll need a place to store them while I work on them. They'll essentially be ghouls at any rate. Just... Perhaps not as pretty to look at," she said, leaning on the table and placing her head in her hand. That was fair, surely? She couldn't just take them home. People would know. Hopefully Silas would understand the need for secrecy.

Silas watched as she sat, drinking in the sight of the lovely beauty. Though, she was Tzimisce, so he wondered how much of her was by design, and how much natural. Keeping his questions to himself for now, he sipped his glass as he waited patiently to finish. Once it seemed she was done, he prepared his answer.

"As you said, you would need a place to work from. This I can give you. Not far from the Rising Sun, is a group of dilapidated buildings. They have been abandoned for some time, and no one is willing to pay the three million dollar price tag to bring them back up to code, so to speak. Well, let's say no one shows an interest in it for long." His meaning was clear. The buildings were left in that condition, because he wanted them that way. "I offer one of the apartment buildings to you. It's ten stories, still structurally sound, and still has power and utilities. There is also a sizable homeless population within it. All perfect for your first bunch of subjects."

He leaned forward, reaching forward to run a finger through a loose lock of hair hanging near her ear. "The other thing I can give you, is information. Information on Erebos, on the Brotherhood of Orion, and on the politics of this city. Where we have our hands, you will have your hands. Where we see, you will see. All I ask, is for you to swear your loyalty to me."

He leaned back, spreading his arms across the back of the booth. "So, what say you? Does this offer seem appealing."

An apartment building? Perfect. Power and utilities? Even better. It would have been a pain to try and route power to a whole block of apartments. This just made things far easier. Clearly Silas must have owned them or he wouldn't have offered. This also meant she could save some money too.

"An entire apartment block of subjects will work perfectly. Naturally I'll have most of them be ghouls, and for those that I don't care for... Well, I'm sure I can reinforce some of the apartments. After all, who would care what I do as long as they are paid and... discretely. Now as for information I could always use that. I'm not at the forefront of it per se, so being kept in the loop would be helpful. And I suppose, me being in the loop keeps you supplied in whatever it is you need. So yes, to cut a ramble short, yes. I swear loyalty."

She leaned back in seat and observed Silas, far older than herself, and had respect for him. She assumed that he saw something useful in her otherwise she wouldn't be leaving. They were all tools to somebody. Besides, unlike Victor, almost exclusively the only other male Kindred she had met so far, Silas had far more charm oozing out of his pores.

It was impressive and disturbing at the same time.

Silas smiled, glad to hear that the woman was willing to swear loyalty to him. He now had another pawn in the game against Erebos and that prick Valerian. Now that she had sworn to him, and was his...his interest was gone.

"You may leave me now. See to my associate Sariel. He'll take you to your new...abode." With a wave of his hand, the Tzimisce was already pushed aside. His attention was now riveted on a blonde woman to his opposite side. They started an intense make out session as another man came into view, discreetly trying to get Cerys' attention.

"Come on miss, time for you to go."

Well, at least that was over. In Cerys' mind she wasn't bothered that she was cast aside, she had what she wanted. Everything else was just irritating to her, so just this just made leaving even easier than she thought it would be. Standing up as the new associate appeared into view, Cerys took her leave, doing her utmost best not to watch Silas sticking his tongue down this blonde's throat.

As she left with this man she considered her new options. Money wouldn't be too much of a problem, again, she had that. She just had to now see the building to know what she had to work with. She could move in, gradually, rather than make her appearance and moving in something of an explosive nature. Keep everything quiet and hushed.

"Well, I hope you're showing me to this building... Otherwise this will be a frightfully annoying night."

Sariel just started walking out of the club, not bothering to tell the Tzimisce to follow him. "That's correct. I'll be taking you there now. How you approach taking it over is up to you." He led them out a rear entrance and over to a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 that was in all black. He pointed to the passenger side. "Get in." Once she did so, he'd start up the V-8 Engine, the rumble resonating deep within their chests as he pulled out of the parking spot, and headed deeper into St. Francis' Village.

"So, now that you're working for Silas, tell me a little bit about yourself." He took a few turns that appeared to double back on their track whilst constantly looking in the rear view mirror for a tail. He didn't expect any, but you never knew what Erebos or those fanatics in the Brotherhood might do.

"Paranoid are we? Expecting trouble?" Cerys asked, looking at her nails before cracking one of her knuckles in irritation. "If you're worried about being followed hand me a gun and I'll take out their tyres..." she said with a wry grin, before paying more attention to the matter at hand. It was fun to tease, but, she imagined if they had to have some kind of gunfight they would also have to be scarce sharpish.

"Me? Well. From England originally, way back when. Now I like to make monsters. Have you ever been to Europe? Amazing. Rich in culture and history, and true, one could argue why I didn't decide to do things over there. Too established. To tip the balance why not start with a new country, like America? The time scale may be off if you think too hard about it but it's a grand place. Good to start in," she said, watching the lights whip by with an inward sigh.

Although America had been around a long time, to Cerys and her grand plans, it was still new and easier to manipulate. Sariel might not have understood, or cared, but what did it matter? Silas was the one she was trying to impress.

The Brujah listened politely as she talked a bit about herself. He liked when she volunteered to take out anyone's tires if they were following them. "If you need a sidearm, check the glove box." In it, would be a Taurus Public Defender and a box of shells for it. Nothing like having a shotgun the size of a hand gun. He didn't divulge any details of himself in the conversation, deciding to not get too close to this Tzimisce - for now.

"I've been to a few places in Europe. Some fancy, others not. Usually for business of one type or another...Ahh, here we go." They pulled up just down the street from a dilapidated apartment complex. Some drug dealers were visible on the corner, peddling their poisons, and just at the edge of sight, could be seen a man renting the services of a woman in an alleyway. The place was a dump, pure and simple, and the neighborhood one of the highest crime rates. So murders were not something new around here. Perfect - if she knew how to play her cards right.

"Like Silas said, power, water, and a plethora of test subjects. If you need anything else, let me know." He gave her a card with his number on it. "It's a cloned phone, and it's good for another few weeks. I'll update you accordingly when the time comes."
