Phoenix was abandoned as a baby at an orphanage with a necklace bearing the crest of the Starbird. As such, she was given the name Phoenix Star and that is the name she ended up going by as she grew up. As a child, Phoenix had a rough life in the orphanages where there wasn't enough food or resources and bigger kids always picked on the weaker and smaller kids for all these things. Phoenix took to fighting early on and as a small kid of six, she used her small size and stature to take on and beat kids that were older and physically larger than she was. She became a bit of a bully as she grew older not out of being mean but as a matter of survival. If you didn't win the fights you were in, you could go hungry or not have adequate clothing etc. The directors of the orphanage were more in favor of making credits and using the kids as free labor, even though this was technically illegal. The directors basically bribed local and imperial government to look the other way. This meant that the kids were fed just enough to get labor out of them and clothed and provided for just to be passed off to whatever factory could get the most work out of them.

When Phoenix turned thirteen she decided to run away and passed herself as much older than she was. She claimed she was sixteen and ended up getting involved in the Hidden Daggers. She learned the finer arts of thievery, smuggling, flying ships, and out and out piracy. However, Phoenix dreamed of striking out on her own although she felt she owed a lot to the Daggers. She felt crimped by this obligation and was determined to own her own ship and be a smuggler with few obligations but to herself. She eyed one of the Dagger's ships a YT-450a and wanted it badly. Yet it belonged to one of the main leaders of the group and if Phoenix out and out stole it, she would go against the Daggers so instead, she got the leader of the group a man named Rishan Torr, liquored up properly and then wagered all she had, including herself to win the YT-450a in a game of Sabacc. If she lost, she knew she would be selling herself into slavery. Yet, Phoenix didn't care she would rather be a slave than to be forever tied to the Daggers. She won her wager and walked off into the galaxy with a used but brand new to her ship which she renamed, Firebird. Phoenix began her life as a smuggler seeking her freedom to do whatever she wanted and be free to no one but herself. However, when Rishan finally managed to sleep off the drunken stupor and felt that Phoenix had stolen his ship. He put out a bounty on her head. So Phoenix despite all her efforts to be free ended up still with a vendetta and a price on her head. All for the sake of wanting no attachments or bonds to anyone.

At this time, Phoenix began to wonder about her origins. She had a necklace with what she thought was a Starbird and wondered what it meant. She began to search for the meaning of the Starbird. She found rumors that it belonged to the resistance, as well as a partial symbol for the Jedi Order. As she began to puzzle the symbol on her necklace, she discovered that the necklace had been altered considerably and that symbol that everyone thought was a Starbird was actually a symbol for the Jedi Order. Other than that, Phoenix could find no other connection to her past. Yet, despite the connection to the Jedi Order and the fact that her parents may have been Jedi, Phoenix was pretty sure she was Force blind. She felt that even though her parents probably attempted to hide her from Order 66, it was a wasted effort because Phoenix believed she was Force blind.... or so she thought....

She happened to end up at her last spaceport she ended up catching the attention of an inquisitor who was looking for Jedi, he identified her as Force-sensitive and wanted her to recruit her into the Imperial ranks. She had enough of being an underling for the Hidden Daggers and being in trouble with them. She was sure as hell wasn't going to be an underling for the fracking Empire as well. So she managed to escape the inquisitor and is trying to go into deep hiding before anyone decided to kill her for her heritage.

Personality: Bold, sassy as hell. Swears a lot. Uses, Damn, Frack, and lots of colorful language in her regular vocabulary. Along with her colorful language, she has a very quirky and perverse sense of humor. Stubborn and hates being beholden to anyone. She loves to drink, and party. She's a very big flirt and will flirt with everyone. She has a lot of bad habits such as drinking, stealing, and doing things that are questionably legal/illegal. She knows it can be wrong but..for her it's all about survival. She also has a soft spot for lost and hopeless causes. She will complain quite a lot about taking up a cause that can seem lost and hopeless but eventually will go into it.
