Thank you to all who dropped in and contributed to our first Character Sim of the new SWO season! The following players have earned CP for their participation:
Summary of Events:
The Crimson Lights was experiencing a rather slow night, with Corvus taking care of his new 'charge', a young Chiss named Cassius. The Chiss had been found by Suavee in his cargo hold, when the Corellian captain was disembarking on Nar Shadda after making an unsavory, long trip to the Unknown Regions. The young man seemed to possess some uncanny 'persuasive' abilities so without giving it much thought, Suavee dumped him on Dalen's doorstep and asked the Jedi master to look after the lad. Reluctant, Corvus agreed - but did not put much stock in Suavee's opinion the Chiss was in any way 'unusual', apart from his rather exotic appearance.
As Corvus engaged his 'guest' in conversation, Marius Shae arrived at the bar. Shortly after, he was to be followed by a sturdy looking fellow (Matthias Jayne). A melancholy Marius confided in Corvus that he has recently been having nightmarish dreams, featuring Serena Elysar. The whole experience left the young Jedi Knight even more sullen and distraught, leaving Corvus to attempt and make him feel better. Failing that, Corvus and Marius began a conversation about the Chiss, with the stranger (Jayne) listening with seemingly mild interest. But when Marius reached out with the Force toward Cassius - to sate his curiosity - he found, to his great surprise, that the blue alien harbored a distinct Force aura. This in turn, made him want to discuss his findings in public - a subject that Corvus was unwilling to pursue with a stranger (Jayne) present.
Then, at one point - the Jedi noticed Matthias loosening the flap on his holster - and he decided to react before something even more unsavory happened. Coming around and behind the man, he attempted to punch Matthias in the temple and thus knock him to the ground - but Jayne managed to dodge the move, his reflexes surprising the Jedi master. Not really wanting to harm the man, Corvus then opted to use the Jedi Mind Trick on Jayne - this time with a much greater success. Managing to convince Jayne that he heard nothing of their conversations during the course of the evening, Dalen 'convinced' the man to leave peacefully, remembering only the delectable drinks he enjoyed that night at the Lights.
After the stranger left, Corvus and Marius took Cassius to the back of the bar, presumably to continue their earlier conversation ...
