The group set down on the planet of Liman, an ecumenopolis in the Outer Rim on the western edge of the known galaxy. Shortly after departing, the group came across a man named Krin, who seemed to be running from something in a panic. Lana finally got him to talk and he could only scream "Run" before a bomb detonated, tearing through two buildings and shooting rubble and dust into the air. Krin revealed he was a baker who had been taking out the garbage when he found a datapad and, with it, a bomb. The datapad contained a video from an individual that identified himself as 'En' who appeared in the videos wearing a hood that covered most of his face and in very dim light. En wanted Krin to play a game, revealing that many would die if he was refused.

That was all Radiant needed, and Radiant immediately set out, following instructions on the datapad while the others tried to get more information. Jarad determined that it was most likely a military model thermal detonator that caused the damage and Lana managed to get as much information as she could from Krin, who was ultimately relieved to get rid of the datapad. Radiant found that the pad led him to an abandoned storefront and the others soon joined him. They investigated and found a plain box carrying a datapad and a glass prism. The pad had another message from En, telling them to travel to two more locations to find the next pieces of the game. The group split up, with one group going to a school and finding a small mirror and a datastick in a chemistry lab, and the other going to an apartment building and finding a large mirror and a datastick in the superintendent's room.

The datasticks had the same message, telling them to go to the midpoint of the triangle formed from the coordinates of the three boxes. The group agreed to meet there and headed out.

The group found that En's game took them to an abandoned warehouse in the middle of the city. The group entered and found a nuclear bomb in the middle of the warehouse, rigged to explode. In addition, they found a beam of light along one wall. Upon investigating the bomb, they found that it could destroy several blocks of the planet. Jarad managed to open two panels on the bomb and found 100 numbered wires from 0 to 1000, as well as well as an opening for the prism the group had found.

Radiant and Lana bounced the laser light into the prism, and Jarad determined that the clue had something to do with yellow light. Silossk used the Force to determine a general region of the wires that could contain the wire that needed to be cut. After Jarad asked what the wavelength of yellow light was, Silossk also recalled that it was 570 nm, which prompted the group to cut the wire numbered 570 which, in turn, disarmed the device.

It was then that En's appeared to them, not in video, but actually uplinked and live. He taunted the group, telling them that the nuclear bomb was just a small one, and that he intended to launch a Baradium Bomb at a planet. He told the group that they'd have to go to Arat Fraca in the Colonies Sector if they wanted to do anything about it, but did say he wasn't going to blow them up.

Silossk used his connections in the Bounty Hunter's guild to determine that the bomb came from the Republic Navy, and later handed it to Lt. Colonel Brahm, the leader of an explosive handling unit aboard the Hope, to further track it. Serena took a datastick and found that it was encrypted. While Master Corvus Dalen was debriefing the group, the pad was handed First Lt. Patch to decrypt and pull the coordinates out.

Back aboard the Hope, Radiant had a panic attack due to his Claustrophobia, and the group shared a meal after the ordeal.

The group arrived on Arat Fraca with a small group of clones, including a pilot, two troopers, and a few combat engineers. The found that the coordinates led them to a secret bunker in the mountains that contained a site that the Republic could have used to launch large-scale weapons. One of the security measures required that the group split up into three separate groups, entering the building in different locations. Each group found themselves in a different hallways, separated from the others.

One group, consisting of Dusty, Shor and Lana, found themselves in a room with a metal door and two statues suspended in pools of water. When Shor tried to turn the doorway, he was hit with a powerful shock. After a lot of deliberation and different attempts, Lana realized that the two statues and the door formed a battery somehow, and realized they could drain the pools to cut the circuits and allow them to continue. In the next room, they found the letters T, E, S, F, T carved into a wall above a console and a strange looking dagger in the room. All around them where holes matching the blade of the dagger with letters and numbers carved above them. Using Danger Sense, the group discovered that the letter Z allowed them to enter without triggering a trap.

The second group, consisting of Silossk, Radiant and a Clone Trooper, found themselves in a room cut in half by a large sheet of glass. Written on the glass in many languages was the phrase "in case of fire, break glass." When Radiant approached the glass, napalm dropped from the ceiling, lighting the room. Silossk broke the glass, which proceeded to flood the room with water. He found a grate that led to the next room and broke it, swimming on through with the others. There, he found a riddle with several items and a console with a scale. Unable to solve the puzzle, he used telekinesis to contact the others, and found the answer to the riddle among the items. He put that on the scale and advanced on.

The final group, with Serena, Tyrio and a clone trooper, found themselves in a room with a key dangling from the ceiling and several raised tiles beneath it. They correctly discerned that the tiles were traps and Serena floated over to take the key. However, doing so rigged a secondary trap, which shot poisonous darts at them. They barely managed to avoid the darts and moved on to the next room, finding two riddles, a large stone statue, and pillars with holes on them on all the walls. They discovered that the pillars fired bursts of sonic energy when they talked, and Serena solved one of the riddles which warned them against that. The other riddle was solved when Serena severed the arms of the statue.

Each group ended up in an identical final room, which consisted solely of a panel with 3 buttons. En revealed that the baradium bomb was in route and the group would collectively, while not being in the same room, have to determine which of three world's it'd hit. They were given the option of Vakkar, an Imperial retreat world with a population in the billions, including some high ranking officials; Motteaux, a small newly colonized world with just under a million that held a key base of the fledgling rebel movement; and Dulcinea, a world with primitive natives and a population ranging at around 5 million.

Silossk, after some deliberation, decided to use his electronic manipulation abilities to reprogram the choices. After using battle meld to allow the entire group to talk without being in the same room, Serena gave Silossk coordinates for an uninhabited moon near Urian, which she had apparently remembered. After a long time working, Silossk and the clone with him reprogrammed the computer and the group made their choice. They were presented with a video of a world they were to supposed to destroy, Dulcinea. The timer to impact counted down, but the video feed showed that the bomb never hit the world. A recording of En played, acknowledging their choice of world and presenting them with a datastick, despite the fact that they had changed the game and saved all three worlds.

Two days after the group went to Arat Fraca, the next encryption was completed and instructed the group to go to Taris. Not only that, it had rather straightforward instructions as to where they were supposed to go. The group was guided to a busy square and instructed to stand underneath a stone gazebo. When they got there, a recording from En played, taunting the group and telling them that they didn't beat him, he only allowed them the option to redirect the bomb.

To punctuate this, En unleashed a large scale attack on the square. Gunshots fired down from above, killing several civilians. In the panic, they ran to try to get away, triggering bombs that En had rigged in the alley ways. When all was said and done, the destruction was immense and thousands of lives were lost. En gave the group another datastick, this one with two messages, one encrypted and one not. The unencrypted one featured En telling the group that he knows where they sleep.

On their way back to the shuttle, everyone received a message from the Hope, sending out a call for everyone to return. There had been a security breach and the message stated that they were under attack. Upon running back to the ship, however, an obstacle presented itself in the form of A'Reane Benelex, a bounty hunter rival of Silossk. Benelex, along with a group of bounty hunters. Serena ignored the hunters and went on the ship to contact the Hope. All the others except Silossk joined her, and Silossk found himself in a one-on-one duel with Benelex.

Serena contacted Master Dalen, who told her that three clones had opened fire in the hangar bay, killing 5 and injuring 3 others. They then took one of the Hope's Nu Class Shuttles and took a hostage, revealed to be Mali.

Outside, Silossk had a hard fought duel with Benelex, barely eking out a victory after his armor was damaged and attempts to intimidate the bounty hunter failed. According to the terms of the fight, Benelex would agree to report to the Empire that the Trandoshan actually wasn't Force Sensitive. With Silossk finished, the group took off to the Hope with Jarad in the pilot's seat.

Jarad later cracked the encryption on the datastick, revealing that the troopers were taking Mali to Naboo, where they would be trading them off to him. It also revealed that he had gotten their personnel files. One of the Clone Troopers left, Major Dahl, revealed to the group that the three clone troopers that had defected were actually three that had accompanied them to Arat Fraca. He also revealed that Mali's mother, Perea, was one of those seriously wounded in the attack after she tried to fight the clone's off, losing a lekku and a chunk of her face.

The group learned that the Hope was capable of tracking the Clones to the System where Naboo was in, leaving Radiant to question exactly what was on the mind of the clones who left while knowing they could be tracked. The group went to see Perea, who was still sedated from the damage, and Lana transmitted a message of warmth to try to ease her recovery. She then sensed Mali's life force and swore that she would get her young student back.

On the Hope, Corvus Dalen put all his effort into healing Perea, and successfully used Transfer Force to regenerate her body. Lana worked on another trooper, who will be laid up for a few days.

The group took a brief break while the Hope traveled toward Naboo. Davin Kabak found the stolen shuttle as well as a hidden facility in the swamp. Q'Zayn joined him and the two resolved to ensure that En could not compromise any of the ships they left behind.

Serena and Marius took the lead down the hatch and began to search. They found the generator for the base, as well as a large mainframe. Marius determined that the mainframe was actually formerly a control module for Battle Droids, which they had found several boxes of parts for up above. Instead of activating the generator and any traps that came, they went back up and began to cut into all the blast doors. They found a large computer console, a room full of communications equipment, and a tarp covering 50 pristine battle droids.

Silossk went to work, destroying the battle droids as Marius and Serena relieved them of their weapons. They left only two droids remaining when Junie activated the generator. Serena then dispatched one of the other droids and began to interrogate the other droid.

The droid seemed a little smarter than the average battle droid, and was willing to tell them that they were there to be used as test subjects. The facility, which Junie later learned belonged to former CIS scientist Nuvo Vindi, was being used by the Republic to develop a virus to subvert all the battle droids.

The droid, who later took the name of Creaky, said that the virus altered the programming, making them read friendly targets as hostile and hostile targets as friendly. However, it did alter him further, apparently. He revealed that five individuals took the lift below and there's a secret hangar there.

He also revealed that he had last been activated two hours prior, that a droid took Mali down to the hangar, and that he had been promised freedom by a person in robes in a mask, who the group took to believe was En.

Serena realized that the computer console was the one with which En recorded his messages to the group, and transferred Creaky's personality and routines to her datapad, shutting him down. While the group went down the lift, Junie explored the computer. While there, she found what she believed to be a sign, that the programming had inadvertently given the battle droids at least some sort of sentience, or, at the very least, some consciousness to be able to subvert their programming.

This revelation rocked Junie, who now believed that the group might have wiped out a sentient species completely. She downloaded all the data and left to ponder exactly what the group had destroyed.

Down below, the rest of the group descended the elevator shaft and were greeted at the bottom by Corporal Marks, Corporal Ships and Lieutenant Crane. The group tried to talk down the traitorous troopers, but they couldn't seem to do it. When Silossk nearly sliced Lt. Crane in half, he learned why this was. The troopers weren't clones afterall, they were artificial life, droids themselves.

After a short fight, the group dispatched the three clones and took to the hangar, where recordings of Mali and an unidentified male were played through speakers to taunt them. One of the recordings had Mali asking for Lana. Another had them telling Mali that her mother was dead, and Mali calling them a liar.

One of the recordings had the male reveal that they were taking Mali to Beris to be killed, and Serena identified Beris as a planet in the Mid-Rid and the group set off, taking the holoprojecter En left behind with them.

Emotions ran very high with the group as they departed, yet another destination and unknown plans waiting for them.

The group landed on Beris and listened to the message En left. The message showed Mali rushing at one of the droid troopers, who grabbed Mali by the arm, shattering the bones in it, the smacking Mali in the head and stomach. En appeared and gave instructions to the group, telling them to move to a location in the mountains of Beris.

The group took off, stiffing a traffic control cop named Decata in the process. The group found a cave and, after going in, discovered what En said would be his final game. In a large, metal pyramid Mali was wrapped with det cord, a powerful explosive. En also placed a nerve gas bomb somewhere in the city.

He revealed that the group would have to determine which one of these bombs would go off, and who would die. While the group was trying to stall, Shor asked En why he was doing this, and En replied that people deserved it. The group began to develop a plan while En was taunting them.

Peko managed to isolate the signal from the droid that led to the bomb in the city and, using his communications know how, determined that it was likely a dead man transmission. He replicated the frequency via his helmet and the group chose to activate the nerve gas in the city.

The bombs didn't go off as planned due to Peko's interference, but it did release Mali, whom Shor caught and freed from the detonite cord. En seemed shocked at first, but then furiously ended the transmission. The group isolated the signal to the bomb, but couldn't track En off the world.

Shor carried Mali back to the shuttle while Serena called to tell someone in the city about the bomb and Silossk carried the remaining droid back. As the group got back, they found a strange droid waiting for them, asking for Lana.

The droid identified himself as Unit 23XZP, also called Prometheus. Prometheus revealed that his father was also En's father, and implored them to go meet with his father on Holowan, who could tell them about En, including where he is.

Perhaps most surprisingly, Prometheus revealed that En was not human at all, but a droid.

Meanwhile, Decata showed up again, this time as the planet's contact to investigate the bomb. She got the signal and, about an hour later, the Berisians tracked down and dismantled the bomb. Decata revealed that they wouldn't be calling any authorities on the matter, because neither side wanted that.

Serena, meanwhile, was busy comforting Mali, who was not only hurting, but also ashamed that she had been unable to take care of herself. Apparently, the drugs they had used on her made her woozy as well, as she vomited on Shor. Serena determined that, aside from the bruises that were on a significant part of her body, Mali's forearm had been shattered during the kidnapping.

Serena, with Juni and Tyrran's help, comforted the girl, making her a splint and reducing her injuries. Mali would require surgery back on the Hope, Serena found, but she would regain full use of her arm.

Before the group departed for Halowan, Serena and Lana successfully performed surgery on Mali's arm. The surgery was successful, and the girl was put into a cast. It'll take a few weeks for the bone to heal, but she'll be back to normal.

The group arrived on Halowan and were driven by Prometheus to a small shack far outside the city. When they walked in, they an elderly Muun gentlemen by the name of Nis Tonth, who identified himself as the first En.

He revealed that En, whom he called Umeeh, was the first prototype of a highly advanced droid brain that he designed and programmed, the same line that spawned Prometheus and the IG series of droids. He revealed that this prototype was as close to sentience as he could give a droid, but that he failed to replicate empathy. He believes this has led to En's sadistic streak.

He revealed that he tried to "dumb down" the brain when designing further lines, but once Halowan ignored his warnings and used the brains in the IG line, he left the company. This ended up saving his life, and he retired when the IG-88 models rebelled.

He said En is hateful of humans, who abuse his kind. He also said En was testing the group with the games, because as smart as he is, imagination can't be replicated in droids.

When the group asked, he revealed that En had a base of operations in an old CIS factory on the twelth moon of Habon, on the fifth planet of Ea, in the Geonosis system. He also gave them a disk with a virus, stating that En had replicated his personality and programming through the holonet and the only way to wipe out the malicious program was to upload the virus through the bases core mainframe.

While he did warn the group that En wasn't to be taken lightly and that he was further certainly picking out weaknesses, the group left the Muun, confident that they could handle whatever En had in store for them.

Serena also managed to get a copy of Prometheus's programming, as well as Nis's personal comm. link.

The group landed on Habon and walked towards the production facility. As they approached it, however, they realized that the Force was nullified in the facility, preventing anyone from accessing it. The group decided to forge ahead, but as they entered the first room, a machine activated and the walls became magnetized, pulling all magnetic metals on the group to the wall. This flustered the group for quite a while until Fiona discovered a way to break the circuit and end the magnetic fields.

Serena then located a generator hidden beneath the floor of the room and cut a hole in it, which fell on and broke the generator. The group then discovered a ladder and, rather than continuing into the facility, they decided to descend down the ladder. After a long climb, the group found themselves about 20 feet above a factory floor with a Battalion of B2 Super Battle Droids beneath them. They couldn't see anything else on the factory floor, but the group did see that the droids were active, when they began walking away.

The group went back up the ladder into the facility and continued onward. They found another room full of pillars and En greeted them over the communications system, then filled the room with B1 Battle Droids. That wasn't a challenge for the group, who easily dispatched the droids and then searched a southern room. In that room, they found razor wires that may have also been rigged up to explode, however Junie was able to crawl underneath them and examine a computer console in the room. Through it, she unlocked the doors and disabled traps, as well as saw a map of the first floor of the facility, which showed only 3 unexplored rooms. However, before she could download the map, the computer shorted out and shut off.

The group went back into the room above and approached the door to the north. They heard something on the other end and identified it as droid. Shorlofnik opened the door and saw three droideka battle droids. The Wookie responded by shutting the door and stepping aside.

It was a length battle and the droids drew blood, but the group was victorious in the end.

The group decided to forgo the statue room and headed to the lift room. After a short while, Dusty figured out how to open the door and the group found a lift down to the factory. When the group went down it, they soon began to hear music, the Mon Cal opera Squid Lake. When the blast doors opened, En was waiting for them.

While En answered the group's question, revealing how he succeeded in blocking the Force on the base, Rade stayed behind and managed to discover the environmental controls to En's greenhouse, which housed the Ysalamir he used to shroud the base. The group attempted to stall and En ended up attacking them, leading to a fight.

Shor and Serena ran back to the control room to load the virus Serena had while the others fought En. Despite his high technical ability, a devastating strike it Silossk's end caused En to drop his blasters and sent him sprawling across the factory floor. Peko followed up with a hit from his grenade launcher. Silossk began to charge En, who finally got to his feet and pulled a force pike from his cloak.

Before Silossk could reach him, though, a well placed shot from Dusty blew a hole in En's chest, deactivating the droid.

Serena and Shorlofnik destroyed the astromech's in the control facility and Serena loaded the virus into the mainframe. The virus spread throughout the factory, and throughout the holonet. The traces of En that were connected to those were wiped out. Shorlofnik further tried to disable every droid in the factory, but Fiona helped him finish the job.

While exploring the factory, Serena discovered several droids that En seemed to be modifying as backup. While Dusty and Silossk picked up En's weapons, several members of the group also picked from among En's droids.

As the group left, Dusty set explosives on the remaining droids, blowing them all up as the group left the factory behind.

On the barren world of Halowan, in a small wooden cabin out in the wastes, a elderly Muun man lives with a droid, the final with a unique brain, one that has never been rivaled. It is a brain that gives the droid a mind as close to human sentience as a droid ever could have. They were on that world when Umeeh, the first of the line, decided that the best thing for the universe was chaos.

And they were there when a virus ripped through the holonet, wiping all traces of the enemy En from it.

"Father… it is done," Prometheus said, looking to Nis.

Nis nodded, taking a deep breath. "They have spread the virus… Umeeh no longer has the holonet."

"Do you think he's really gone, father?"

Nis looked to the ground and shook his head. "Umeeh was many things… but dumb wasn't one of them. I am certain that, even in his arrogance, he had a backup plan… a body somewhere that could be activated. But no matter how many of him are left, he cannot access the holonet further, not until the virus is wiped out."

"So even if he isn't gone, he can no longer coordinate the attacks he did before."

Nis nodded. Prometheus sat down next to Nis and Nis looked to him. "Prometheus… Activate protocol 17."

Prometheus looked to Nis, but didn't move. "Are you sure, Father?"

Nis nodded again. "My I not fall to temptation again… and may no one repeat my sins. May you not repeat the mistakes of your brother"

Prometheus stood and walked to a dresser. He pulled a small holdout blaster from it and walked back to Nis. "Father… I am sorry."

Nis smiled one last time and closed his eyes. "You are forgiven…"

Outside, the sound of a blaster bolt filled the air. After that, it was silent.
