The Scene started amicably enough, a bright shiny day on Alderaan, but that was not to last. As fate is fickle, and whimsical, it just so happened to send a message to one of the new arrivals to the VoJ compound, one Jedi Padawan Xar Canthar, bearing grave news. Exasperated, he shared the message with the Ruusan Jedi Ciaran Veir, Xar and Ciaran thus headed into the Mess, happening upon a group of the Vanguard regulars, and after a brief introduction of Ciaran by Xar, he pleaded his case.

Xar let on that the Empire, or rather a splinter Sect of it yet to be formally named, had taken his younger Sister, Tessyria, demanding that the two wayward Jedi return the datacards they held in their possession which apparently held the names and locations of covert Sith Operatives inside of Republic Space- Information on a previously unseen encryption protocol that makes duplication impossible- and information that could upset the tenuous peace between the Republic and the Empire.

The Party lifted off in Xar and Ciaran's ship, the XS Light Freighter "Ardent Seeker", and headed for Balmorra, to procure something special the pair had left behind on the planet's uninhabited side years prior. The approach to Balmorra was made easier by sticking to the barren, de-populated eastern hemisphere, ending up in a system of canyons of decreasing width and increasing depth. The Seeker touched down on the lip of an open cave about halfway up the sheer cliff face, and the party was led into the shallow cave, pushing aside webbing and debris of the past. Ignoring the two spots where funeral pyres had burned in years past, the pair introduced the party to their ticket into Sith Space- the X-70B Phantom prototype, dubbed "Revenant."

After switching places with the Seeker, the Revenant made for space, but was quickly contacted by Balmorran Spaceport Control, regardless of their engaged Sensor Cloak. Seems the ship's Transponder and Trackers were both still operating normally, making the ship's cloak pretty useless. Two Fury class Interceptors moved to intercept the Revenant, using it's prior callsign, 'Eclipse'. They moved to attack when the party refused to answer their demands for code clearance transmission, and a brief firefight ensued. Jex kept one pilot confused and off the hunt, Jena piloted flawlessly, and Kai manned the Guns, while Graym worked the COMMS, but it was a stalemate, and the party was HIt once, shields held.

The X-70B's fixed forward turrets made the fight difficult, but its great speed and agility allowed it to outpace the Furies and make for the Hydian Way, a major Hyperlane linking the Galaxy from extreme 'north' to 'south'. Once in hyperspace, the party inquired of the pair about the details of the mission and the enemy they were facing, while Jena made Monumental strides, pushing herself past her normal limits in order to not only deactivate the Tracker device, but also to reset and scramble the IFF transponder. Now they at least had a chance- which they would need all they could get, seeing as how after a brief stopover at Mirial, their ultimate destination was Ziost, in the heart of Sith Space, inside the nearly impossible to navigate region of space known as the Stygian Caldera...

When we Last left our heroes, they had decided to follow the two newest travelers to grace the Vanguard- Ciaran Veir, of Ruusan, and Xar Canthar, of Panatha, to attempt to rescue his little sister, Tessyria, from the clutches of a sith splinter group yet to be named, in exchange for very sensitive information possessed by the two.

In the pursuit of this goal, they led the party to Balmorra's Eastern Hemisphere, devoid of life, and landed on a cliffside cave, home to a couple of long burnt out funeral pyres- and a prototype X70B phantom stealth ship, christened "Revenant".

Exchanging their XS freighter for the Revenant, they took to the skies, only to be found despite their stealth by a passing Patrol of Sith Fury Interceptors, but managed to outrun them and get on the Hydian way. Their next stop is the ravaged planet of Telos, and then... onward into the Stygian Caldera, and the Sith Stronghold of Ziost...

En Route, Jena managed to not only find and disable the tracking device put aboard such vessels, but re-program the IFF, which should buy you all *Some* time. We left off last time in hyperspace, moments away from the Telos Reversion point.

When we last left our heroes, they had Procured the X70B Phantom prototype, dubbed 'Revenant', and took it into several misadventures, including a brush with a Sith Sector Fleet just off Telos, and had plotted a jump directly THROUGH the dangerous Stygian Caldera, and onward into the heart of Sith Space.

Several arguements and differences of opinion resulted, but the mission team pressed on, and they were still in transit in hyperspace when last we closed, trying to calm themselves. The fleet was one thing, but they were headed directly for Ziost, one of the Imperial seats of power...

It is here where everyone shall be placed, aboard the Revenant, in transit, about ten minutes to reversion. Good luck, you're gonna need it! /Han. Begin.
