OVERVIEW:
Bobbleheads are a special kind of trinkets for use within SWO, which usually give one or more bonuses to either a skill, an attribute, or a Force Power. For example:
Starting May 1st, 2017, ALL bobbleheads AND skill/attribute/Force enhancing trinkets AS WELL AS Lightside bonuses will have a maximum threshold of 7D applied to their use. This means, that if your roll (excluding Bobbleheads and Trinkets and Lightside bonuses) is already at 7D, using them to boost your roll is prohibited. Stacking bonuses in such a way makes things exceedingly unbalanced in favor of Force users which are already overpowered for the most part. Further, putting this rule in place encourages players to risk CP and FP rather than ride on the coattails of already bloated dice rolls.
EXCEPTIONS:
The only time a GM may allow to ignore the stacking bonuses to exceed the 7D rule, is when a character's life is at stake. In this case, players who obtain the presiding GM's permission, may be allowed to stack their combined roll to go over 7D - IF the character in peril is at -9 HP or more. This exception applies to the following skills ONLY:
